Cleaning
Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid soaking the wood and skip harsh solvents. For dust, a dry microfiber cloth is all you need.
Weight limits
Each shelf level is rated for 75 lb of evenly distributed weight. The Workbench Tote Shelf's plywood top is rated for 200 lb. Distribute heavier items toward the bottom for stability.
Indoor vs. garage use
Built for indoor spaces — garages, mudrooms, shops, and utility rooms. These shelves are not meant to be used outdoors. Keep them out of direct rain, snow, and standing water, as moisture will damage the wood and finish over time.
Touch-ups
Light scuffs can be sanded gently with 220-grit and topped with a matching wax or clear coat. For deeper repairs, email us a photo and we'll suggest the best fix.
Anchoring (recommended)
For tall configurations (56″ and 72″), we recommend anchoring the back of the unit to a wall stud with a single L-bracket. Hardware suggestions are included in your delivery paperwork.
