Binly Woodcraft is a small shop. We collect the minimum we need to build and ship your order, and we don't sell your information to anyone.
What we collect
- Order details: name, email, phone, shipping address, and what you bought.
- Email address if you subscribe to our newsletter or use the contact form.
- Basic usage data: pages viewed and general location, via privacy-friendly analytics.
We never receive or store your full payment card details — those go directly to Stripe.
How we use it
To process and ship orders, answer your questions, send order confirmations and shipping updates, and — only if you opted in — send occasional emails about new work and organization tips.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run the shop: Stripe (payments), our email delivery provider (order and newsletter emails), our hosting and database provider, and freight carriers for delivery. Each receives only what they need. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to keep your cart and session working, plus analytics to understand which pages people find useful. Analytics data is aggregated and not used to identify you personally. You can block cookies in your browser; the cart may stop working if you do.
Email preferences
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can manage your preferences any time on our email preferences page. Transactional emails about an order you placed are always sent.
Retention
Order records are kept as long as required for tax and warranty purposes (typically seven years). Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it, or request deletion (where we're not required to keep it). Email aaron@binly.ca and we'll respond within 30 days.
