Terms of Service

Last updated July 29, 2026

These terms apply to orders placed with Binly Woodcraft through binly.ca. Placing an order means you agree to them. If something here doesn't work for your situation, email us before ordering and we'll sort it out.

1. Made-to-order work

Every piece is built after you order. Production begins once payment clears, and the current lead time is 2–3 weeks unless we quote otherwise in writing. Wood is a natural material — grain, colour, and knot patterns vary between units and from the photos on this site.

2. Pricing and payment

Prices are listed in Canadian dollars and may change at any time, though the price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Applicable taxes and shipping are shown before you confirm.

3. Changes and cancellations

You may change or cancel an order for a full refund within 48 hours of placing it, as long as we haven't started cutting material. After that, cancellations may be subject to a materials and labour charge. Custom-dimension builds are non-cancellable once production starts.

4. Shipping and delivery

Shipping options, freight handling, and damage claims are covered on our Shipping & Returns page, which forms part of these terms. Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery.

5. Returns and warranty

We do not accept returns at this time. We warrant our joinery and finish against material and workmanship defects for one year from delivery. The warranty doesn't cover normal wear, overloading beyond stated capacity, moisture damage, or modifications.

6. Safe use

Load shelves evenly and stay within the stated weight capacity. Tall units should be anchored to a wall stud in homes with children or in seismic areas. Binly Woodcraft isn't liable for damage or injury caused by improper installation, anchoring, or loading.

7. Intellectual property

All designs, photography, and copy on this site belong to Binly Woodcraft and may not be reproduced for commercial use without written permission.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
